'Arrow' Season 5 Spoilers: Manu Bennett Returns -- Will Deathstroke Help Oliver?

'Arrow' Season 5 Spoilers: Manu Bennett Returns -- Will Deathstroke Help Oliver?

For episode 100 fans were treated to a short cameo by the villain thanks to some alternate reality hi-jinks but it was just in costume.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. In the context of the series, Slade Wilson has been imprisoned in the A.R.G.USA facility on Lian Yu since season two of the series and made a brief appearance in season 3. Neither Ra's al Ghul nor Damien Darhk managed to be more compelling than the villain, and while Prometheus has been excellent so far, it's fair to say that Deathstroke still remains the benchmark for the series.

Arsenal humiliated again in 3-0 loss at Crystal Palace
Palace are now six points above the bottom three and the manner of this win against Arsenal suggests they are out of trouble. To say Palace deserved it would be an understatement - as would saying it was enjoyed by the fans.

It's only ruddy Manu Bennett!

More news as we hear it. Could that mean Oliver will need to rely on an old enemy to take down a new one in Prometheus (Josh Segarra)?

Paulo Dybala says he's not the new Lionel Messi
The FC crew preview half of the mouth-watering quarterfinal match-ups in the UCL, and give predictions on who will move on. Barcelona's Javier Mascherano, another Argentine, said his team will be wary of Dybala and Higuain in the quarterfinals.

As we move towards the fifth season finale and "Arrow" enjoys a short break, comments from those who have worked on the show suggested we'd be looking at an unfamiliar and odd group of characters working together to take down this season's Big Bad, Prometheus during the season 5 finale. As other outlets have pointed out, there's no indication on whether Slade's return is happening before the end of the current season or in season 6, but if it's the former, that would suggest a guest star bit in the battle against Prometheus. It's going to be really emotional. "It's going to end in a giant explosion, but not where we think it's going to end, and the emotional punch is going to be bigger than the actual physical part of the bombs going off". Since Wilson was last seen imprisoned and very much wanting to still kill Oliver it can only be guessed as how this comes about but it should be exciting to see unfold.

Details of Deathstroke's role in the finale are being kept under wraps, but if you're expecting to see him raise havoc in Oliver's City once again, you might be in for a surprise.
