Alec Baldwin's Trump Dodges the Issues in 'SNL' Cold Open

Alec Baldwin showed his range on Saturday Night Live this weekend as after opening the show as U.S. President Donald Trump before doing a second turn as Fox News host Bill O'Reilly. He might've made quite a splash as Donald Trump, but everybody has a Trump at this point. "I was busy being super presidential, by bombing a bunch of s--". "And your kids are going to work in coal, and your grandkids, and it's going to be incredible".

Cast members Aidy Bryant, Mikey Day, and Beck Bennett took turns pointing out just a few of the problems with Trump's proposed federal budget.

This imitation was more accurate than Baldwin's outsized, sometimes cartoonish version of Trump. "You people stand by me no matter what", he said.

Baldwin's Trump tells another supporter that he's getting rid of her child's after-school program and minimum wage.

In the middle of O'Reilly's segment, he reminded viewers that he still had some very reliable advertisers who weather the controversy storm, such as "dog cocaine" and "Eliquis", a horse aphrodisiac.
